Game Design

The game board is set within an underground mine with a board that starts off split into two halves. You will begin playing on the top half of the board which features six reels and three rows but there are a further three rows below just waiting to be unlocked!

Each time you score a winning combination, the symbols that make up that win will collapse. With each collapse, an additional row will become active with a maximum of six rows available. A collapse can also be triggered by the xBomb feature even if you don’t have an active win on the reels.

Game Features

Collapsing Mine

One of the key features of the game is the collapsing mine. Each time you score a win, the symbols will collapse and an additional row will open up on the game board. This can also happen if you land the xBomb feature or if the Wild Mining feature is triggered. There is a maximum of six rows available to play on. Each win is calculated after each collapse before any new symbols drop in from above.

Lucky Wagon Free Spins

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Bonus symbols during the main game will trigger the Lucky Wagon Free Spins feature. The number of rows available will be 2, 3 or 4 initially based on how many bonus symbols you managed to land. You’ll start off with 3 free spins and the reels will display a series of blanks and coins which feature different values between 1x up to 100x your stake.

During the free spins feature, you will also notice a series of minecarts rumbling across the top of the reels. These enhancers include Coins, Multipliers, Dynamite, Bag, Chest or Dwarf and act as follows:

Coins – these can range from 1x your win up to 100x your stake
Multipliers – these will multiply the value of all the coins on the reels below the enhancer symbols
Dynamite – the dynamite will blow up any blocked positions on the reels if available or will add value to the coins, it can also activate the chests in the bottom row to ramp up your multiplier significantly
Bag – this collects all the coins in the reel below it
Chest – the chest symbol will collect all the values of the corresponding reel and removes any occupied positions except for the Dwarf and places them on the triggering coin
Dwarf – collects all the values in the reel and placed coin positions for each spin.
Collect Chests – the collect chest can be activated by dynamite. Once activated it will collect the values in the corresponding reel on each free spin.

Lucky Wagon Free Spins ends when the reel is full or when no more free spins remain. If any chests are activated, the value of each will be added three more times.

xBomb Multiplier

This is the first time we’ve seen this feature from NoLimit City. The xBomb symbol can substitute for all symbols except for the Bonus symbol. The xBomb will explode and destroy all adjacent symbols on the reels and also increase the multiplier by x1 for the next collapse. The symbol can appear and explode even if there isn’t a win on the reels.

Wild Mining

This feature can be triggered when 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols appear in the main game horizontally on the same row. The triggering symbols will then be removed creating Wild symbols in the middle reel positions. 3 symbols awards 1 wild, 4 symbol awards 2 wilds and 5 symbols awards 3 wilds. All other symbols that are not either a wild or Bonus symbol will explode and trigger a collapse.

Bonus Buy

As with other NoLimit City slot games, players can also buy in to the bonus feature.
